Limbe Zoo
Created in 1993
Located in the Bota district, opposite the botanical garden, it covers an area of almost 44 hectares. The initial goal was to create a sanctuary for chimpanzees. It now houses and cares for 15 species of injured or abandoned primates including gorillas, mandrills, baboons, drills, mangabeys, chimpanzees, cercopithecines, etc. but also crocodiles, pythons and a turtle.
