Mount Cameroon
Distance Buea Douala‐Starland Hotel: 71.5 km. It is also called the “Chariot of the Gods”. Every year, in February, the ascent of Mount Cameroon renamed the Course of Hope in 1996; an endurance race of around 40 km with 2500 m of elevation gain. The simplest and shortest way to climb Mount Cameroon is to leave from Buea. Head towards Upper Town and the former palace of Governor Von Puttkammer.
